Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Prime Minister of India) announced that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojna Part-2, the scheme of free ration to the poor is being extended till November. Now this scheme will continue in the country till November. Under this scheme, the poor will be given 5 kg of free wheat or rice and one kg of gram. The Prime Minister said that it will cost an additional 90 thousand crores to implement this scheme till November. The PM also said that since this scheme has started, from then till November it will cost up to one and a half lakh crores.

The PM said that this time of festivals, also increases the needs, also increases the expenses. Keeping all these things in mind, it has been decided that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana should now be extended till Diwali and Chhath Puja, i.e. by the end of November.

31 thousand crores deposited directly in Jan Dhan accounts- PM said that in last three months, Rs. 31 thousand crores has been deposited directly in Jan Dhan accounts of 20 crore poor families. During this time, 18 thousand crore rupees have been deposited in the bank accounts of more than 9 crore farmers.

1. With the help of the proposed Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY), the government is giving people an opportunity to pay interest including penalty on their undisclosed income.

2. This scheme has been brought to the people to collect black money due to the tax not paid earlier. In this, 30 percent tax, 10 percent penalty and 33 percent of the taxed amount will have to be paid as cess.

3. Those declaring income will have to deposit 25 per cent of the undisclosed income in the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana (PMGKY) in the deposit scheme announced by the Reserve Bank in 2016.

4. If the person declaring income does not want to put the money in the government deposit scheme, then 85 percent of the amount will be deducted as tax and penalty ..
